Subject: Heap overflow in OpenOffice.org suite leads to code execution


Wade Alcorn of NGSSoftware has discovered a high risk heap overflow 
vulnerability in the OpenOffice.org suite which allows a 32-bit value to be 
written to an arbitrary location in memory. This may lead to command 
execution in the context of the current user.

OpenOffice has released a patch and a new version that addresses this issue.
