Subject: Double copies

Dear all,

I too am getting double copies of some of the list postings. I use
procmail (with lockfiles) to sort my mail, so I definitely have no
misconfigured outlook rules which could be to blame.

Additionally, I have a procmail/formail rule to discard messages with
the same message id to avoid duplicates... This may be the cause of the
intermittant nature of the duplication i have noticed.

With full apologies to Jason as I am only using his mails as the most
recent example, see attached below:

Note that the MSGIDs in each case are unique, leading me to believe that
the mail was *sent* twice rather than delivered twice - My local
procmail would never touch a MSGID, so the problem cannot be mine.

I also note that the Mail Server at netsys.com sent the first mail
through my primary MX and the second mail through my secondary MX - why
it felt the need to do this is anyone's guess. (and before you ask, I'm
not subscribed to the list twice)

However the fact this does not affect everyone is something I am at a
loss to explain, but I'm providing full information so you guys can't
complain (although doubtless someone will) - maybe someone could
diagnose the problem...
