.....and I think the point is the same for FD as it is for any carrier - 
they are not responsible for the content, just the channel.

The fact that Len et al. care a LOT about keeping the channel 
unconstrained by filtering is why most of us are here rather than other 
lists.

They can't guarantee that anyone who ever took output from the list is 
immune to viruses, particularly ones that spoof the source email address.

They can't guarantee the quality of the posts.

They can guarantee the channel is clean.

We all get this c**p, and the abuse notices from the Postmasters that 
don't understand how it works and the virus scanner auto-responses.

It's what your delete key is for, dues for participating.

Get over it.
