Subject: Zeroize equipment is necessary for your server room.

Every server operator should have zeroizing equipment
(rapid, unreversible data erasing gear) available immeditely
at the scene.

Essentially, hard drives can be destroyed by heating them
above their specific temperature, where magnetism is lost or
to grind the magnetic layer away. It is recommended to buy
hard drives, whose plates are made of glass with magnetic
coating as opposed to purely metallic plates. Glass plates
HDD are much rarer, but easy to shatter into millions of
shards, then just flush them down the loo.

Never trust erasing software. Data recovery firms use highly
advanced technology. Today HDDs are cheap, buy new ones and
sleep calmly.

Streamer tapes should be incinerated. Keep an asbetos pot
and a flask of napalm ready.

Then grab a gun and fight the FBI. Remember, John Dillinger
died for you!

Regards, Tamas Feher.
