Ciphertrust can be trusted - I have used their Ironmail product to block
spam. Company is based in the U.S.

I have had quite a few support telephone conversations when their product
has faulted. Ironmail is installed on-site, they send you the servers and
help you configure them.

legitimate- yes
effectiveness (of ironmail product); average- it all depends on how you
configure it really.

for handling spam mail, there are are better bureau solutions, like Postini.

I have to admit, I hadn't heard of www.phishregistry.org
<http://www.phishregistry.org> . - but the IP address for this is exactly
the same as http://www.ciphertrust.com/ <http://www.ciphertrust.com/>
-which is trusted.

Hope this has been of some help.

Subject: [Full-disclosure] Phish Registry

I am curious to get information about a website www.phishregistry.org. It
is run by a company called Ciphertrust. Google searches have produced
nothing.

I am curious to hear any feedback about the site -- legitimacy ,
effectiveness, etc.

Any thoughts would be of use..

Thanks
Stephen Johnson
