Subject: Cenzic Patents & Lawsuit

Dark Reading did an article on the Cenzic lawsuit against SPI &
Hewlett-Packard. I did some Google search on this topic and found
this interesting piece. Apparently, Spi had filed a suit against
Cenzic back in October 2006.. Hmm, that puts an interesting
perspective on things. Looks like Spi/HP is acting pretty sly
here…May be Cenzic got tired of trying to settle this one..hence
the suit?

"Spi sues competitor"

"Atlanta-based SPI Dynamics Inc. is suing a California competitor
for patent infringement. SPI Dynamics, a provider of Web security
services, claims Cenzic Inc. is using a security testing program
that infringes on a patent issued in February."

The articles that talk about the new Cenzic patent overlook this.
