You're not wrong but Christ on a tricycle, WHY????

Gnome is shiny. KDE is shiny. E is shiny. Linux as a desktop is at a point
where someone can do everything he or she needs without resorting to
dual-boot and with PaX and GRSec there is actually some plausibility you
might have a fighting chance to not be somebody's bitch.

OSX has a Bash prompt. Great. Why do so many otherwise intelligent people
ignore the clusterfuck under the hood?
