Different things motivate different people - from power and money to spirituality and inner peace. I take exception to (1) the pursuit of greed wrecked the US economy (again); and (2) our politicians did nothing because they were bribed by the industry (err, PAC contributions). To swing it back to security related matters, Corporate actions and Congressional inactions are negatively impacting US National Security since the outcome has a negative effect on the country and its citizens. Who are the real threats to the US: terrorist who try to dream up ways to do the US harm, or Corporate and Congress which does the US harm?
