Summary:

RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, and RSA IMG contain fixes for a privilege escalation vulnerability that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise an affected system.

 

Details:

The privilege escalation vulnerability in RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, and RSA IMG product appliance allows certain OS level users to execute arbitrary scripts with root level privileges

 

Recommendation:

The following RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, and RSA IMG releases contain resolutions to this vulnerability (fix is required for hardware and software appliances only):

 

        RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.2:   7.0.2, P05 or later
        RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.1:  Hot Fix available for P05
        RSA Via L&G 7.0: Requires upgrading to 7.0.2, P05 or later
        RSA IMG v6.9.1: Requires upgrading to 7.0.2, P05 or later
