Thanks. So I don't see anything suspicious in the dumpe2fs. I've looked
again at the code and I still don't see how handle can be marked as sync in
ext4_writepages(). I wrote attached patch to dump stack in case this
happens. The dumping doesn't trigger for me. Can you reproduce the problem?
Can you run a kernel with the attached patch applied and report stack dumps
appearing in the kernel log?
