diden't see it again. I will keep my eyes open but hot docking seems to work
with a vmware bridge running.

I attach the dmesg of this latest try

even leaving the USB memory in the bay while undocking is ok now.
only it dosen't get reattached on docking than. I had to unplug and replug
it.

Zhaos patchset and lost the track somewhere on GMANE.
