Now that I've gone more or less off topic I may as well voice my opinion the 'as best as I can' sounds like a mixup of two constructs: either 'as best I can' (which is probably slightly unusual these days), or 'as well as I can'. 'I've done it as good as I can' is gramatically wrong (since 'good' is an adjective and 'well' is an adverb, and it is referring to 'how I did it' (or in the case above, 'how well I tested it'), but fairly common nevertheless, and given the large percentage of non-native speakers in the Linux community I wouldn't worry about it, the meaning is clear anyway. I'll shut up and go now. :-) /Ricard -- Ricard Wolf Wanderlöf ricardw(at)axis.com Axis Communications AB, Lund, Sweden www.axis.com Phone +46 46 272 2016 Fax +46 46 13 61 30 -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@...r.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
