Subject: [PATCH 1/1] video: uvesafb: Deletion of an unnecessary check before
 the function call "platform_device_put"

From: Markus Elfring <elfring@...rs.sourceforge.net>
Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2014 17:05:18 +0100

The platform_device_put() function tests whether its argument is NULL
and then returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.
