Thanks, have it, no hangups so far.

But now, I have another strangeness.

All the 9's in mate-terminals have thin black line on them. IOW I'm
having my fonts corrupted, and it is the first time I seen something
like this.

I was even trying to physically clean my screen :-).

Any ideas?
