Subject: [PATCH] tools build: use .s extension for preprocessed assembler code

The "man gcc" says .i extension represents the file is C source code
that should not be preprocessed. Here, .s should be used.

For clarification,
  .c  ---(preprocess)--->  .i
  .S  ---(preprocess)--->  .s
