Subject: Requesting Thunderbolt 3 support

Hi,

Please CC replies to me since I'm not subscribed to the list.

I'm wondering if anyone is working on thunderbolt 3 support, and if
not I would like to request thunderbolt 3 support in the kernel.

Thunderbolt 3 looks great, since it is really fast and uses USB
cables. Is anyone else interested in TB3?

It looks like no work on the current thunderbolt driver has been
pushed since about 5 months ago, and I'm not sure if TB3 support
should be added to the current driver, or if maybe a new driver for
TB3 would make more sense.

Thanks,
Jeremy Carter
