    [IPROUTE]: Refuse "ip link add/replace" without device type parameter
    
    Fix confusing error message noticed by Martin Josefsson:
    
    # ip link add
    RTNETLINK answers: Operation not supported
    
    The reason is missing device type information, refuse this and print a message.
