Really? By my calculations it would be an awful lot of churn.

$ find net/ -type f -name "*.[chS]" | xargs grep "\/\* *$" | wc -l
6833
$ find net/ -type f -name "*.[chS]" | xargs grep -l "\/\* *$" | wc -l
929
