Hi Dave,

Patrick seems to be rather quiet (perhaps he is on holidays?).
Could you consider taking these changes through your tree as
it would be nice to get this feature in 2.6.38?
If so I'll send you a fresh pull request as I think there
is a conflict with your tree (but not nf-next-2.6).
