Subject: Wake On Lan strange behaviour

Greetings,

I am part of a group of (seemingly) select few experiencing an odd
bug. The following thread describes the problem and the steps to make
it happen pretty well:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1410813#p1410813

(and also this one http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=7532644#7532644)

The odd thing is, it seems to be on different motherboards and network
chipsets, so I am not even sure that this is the correct place to
post. However, the common thing that manifests the bug is WOL.

Before polluting this message with various random information that may
or may not be pertinent, I would like to know if this is the right
place to post and if so what information is needed. If not, what list
would be a better choice?

Thanks,
Dave
