Subject: [PATCH] net: hns3: remove redundant variable 'protocol'

From: Colin Ian King <colin.king@...onical.com>

Variable 'protocol' is being assigned but is never used hence it is
redundant and can be removed.

Cleans up clang warning:
warning: variable 'protocol' set but not used [-Wunused-but-set-variable]
