This can lead to the execution of arbitrary code when connected to a malicious server. For the stable distribution (woody) this problem has been fixed in version 0.17-18woody3. For the unstable distribution (sid) this problem will be fixed soon. We recommend that you upgrade your telnet package. Upgrade Instructions - -------------------- wget url will fetch the file for you dpkg -i file.deb will install the referenced file.
