CVE ID : CVE-2006-3379
BugTraq ID : 18785
Debian Bug : 378059

Akira Tanaka discovered a vulnerability in Hiki Wiki, a Wiki engine
written in Ruby that allows remote attackers to cause a denial of
service via high CPU consumption using by performing a diff between
large and specially crafted Wiki pages.

For the stable distribution (sarge) this problem has been fixed in
version 0.6.5-2.

For the unstable distribution (sid) this problem has been fixed in
version 0.8.6-1.

We recommend that you upgrade your hiki package.

Upgrade Instructions
- --------------------

wget url
will fetch the file for you
dpkg -i file.deb
        will install the referenced file.

If you are using the apt-get package manager, use the line for
sources.list as given at the end of this advisory:

apt-get update
        will update the internal database
apt-get upgrade

You may use an automated update by adding the resources from the
