- -- Vulnerability Details:
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on
vulnerable installations of HP Easy Printer Care. User interaction is
required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a
malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the XMLSimpleAccessor ActiveX control
(CLSID: {466576F3-19B6-4FF1-BD48-3E0E1BFB96E9}). By passing an overlong
string to the LoadXML() method it is possible to trigger a heap
corruption vulnerability. A remote attacker could exploit this
vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the affected machine under
the context of the user running the Internet Explorer process.
