Message-ID: <EX-20020813-104029-0005@exchange.fiserv-missive1.fiserv.net> From: Ray.Percival at summit.fiserv.com (Percival, Ray) Subject: Security Documentation Bad form to send HTML email to a security list. Change that for starters. Security documentation is a tricky thing. For example I could send you to http://nsa2.www.conxion.com/ and you would learn a lot about how to secure a given system. But you would not learn why you should do these things and would not learn anything of the underlying philosophy. In many ways this book (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/csb/) while old is worth the time to read because it does start you on the road to thinking about what security is. That and a lot of thought on the subject. > -----Original Message----- > From: Monima Abrams > Sent: Tuesday, August 13, 2002 8:17 AM > To: full-disclosure@...ts.netsys.com > Subject: [Full-Disclosure] Security Documentation > > << File: UNKNOWN.HTM >>
