This is hardly unique, there are plenty of other groups around who advocate
"choice" when in fact it isn't a choice they advocate at all.

I love the irony in the choice of names.  "The Initiative for Software
Choice" is asking the DOD to think twice before choosing software they
can't sell to the DOD. :-)

debate.  The computer industry establishmnet (ie., Microsoft, Intel, and
Cisco) is throwing around lobbying dollars in Washington, DC in an
attempt to "win" this debate at the DOD.
