Subject: A b0f/crash exists in the /sbin/probe on Redhat 8.0 proberly below as well.


Hello

When running the /sbin/probe with the -t switch and then 1 character after it , it will Seg Fault when running as an unprivleged user eg.

[fault@...alhost fault]$ /sbin/probe -t A
PCI bridge probe: not found.
Segmentation fault
[fault@...alhost fault]$

When u run /sbin/probe -t A with root privs the box will crash/freeze the package comes from .

[fault@...alhost fault]$ rpm -q -f  /sbin/probe
kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.31-9
[fault@...alhost fault]$ 

my os is RedHat 8.0 kernel  2.4.18-17.8.0 .
