Subject: Packit 0.5.0 Released!

Hi all,

This is just an FYI to let you know that a moments ago Packit 0.5.0 was
released to http://packit.sourceforge.net. It should also be visible on
http://www.packetfactory.net shortly as well.

Description:

Packit - Network Injection And Capture Tool

Packit is a network auditing tool that allows you to monitor,
manipulate, and inject customized IP traffic into your network.
Supporting the ability to define (spoof) all TCP, UDP, ICMP, IP, ARP,
RARP and Ethernet header options, Packit can be valuable in testing
firewalls, intrusion detection systems, port scanning, simulating
network traffic and general TCP/IP auditing.

Packit requires libnet 1.1 or greater and libpcap. It has been compiled
and tested on FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, MacOS X, and Linux.

Thanks,

Darren Bounds
