Subject: RE: Xeneo Web Server 2.2.10.0 Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
All,
Please note that the vendor was notified on 4/23/2003, not 3/23/2003.
In the interest of being responsive to security vulnerabilities,
Northern Solutions quickly released Xeneo Web Server 2.2.10 to address
the long argument and URL encoding denial of service vulnerabilities.
Unfortunately 2.2.10 introduced another DoS issue, which was discovered
by the vendor soon after its release. Xeneo Web Server 2.2.11 addresses
the issue outlined in this advisory.
