Subject: Internet Explorer 6 DoS Bug

You may be interested to know that this and similar problems with device
drivers have been around for many years. Just one example is in

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/
bulletin/fq00-017.asp

The interesting part of this security bulletin is the section entitled "Does
this vulnerability affect Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000?". Well perhaps it
doesn't but then again we are constantly reminded that IE is an integral
part of the OS :-)

Regards, Don.
