I respectfully disagree.  Security is about making sure systems operate
correctly, typically described in terms of confidentiality, integrity,
and availability.  Denial of service is an attack against availability.
Quite a few business missions depend on the timely, accurate delivery of
information, whether it's movies or medical data.  Vulnerabilities in
media services clearly are germane to this mailing list.
