I observed this behaviour when programming Netbios-NS
and Netbios-dgm about a month . If I remember well , no
special packet is needed . If you send netbios-ns request
to a workstation sometimes windows pad it with 5 o 6 bytes
from memory . I couldn?t get more bits padded , I remember
I tryed to use a smaller netbios name , but no luck , I think
I just got "HTTP" or something like that .

I would like to give you more information , but I don't have time
now to check it .

Regards ,
