Subject: Snort not backdoored, Sourcefire not
  compromised

Hi!

If someone on the list is still thinking that Snort is backdoored and
Sourcefire compromised, please read this stuff if you can read German language:

Gef?lschtes Phrack-Magazin stiftet Verwirrung
http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/pab-22.09.03-000/

To make it short: This phrack issue is FAKED, it's FALSE, it's not telling
the truth. If you have ever heared about the "Project Mayhem": These
blackhats want to cause confusion only. They tell us wrong things. And some
people trust the "facts" they provide. But these facts are weak... and wrong.

cheers,
Andreas
