Hello,

alpha in this context means prior to beta version, that is some half-
working, not even feature complete piece of software, that may 
explode if you use it.

I think you should write "Alpha AXP" so everybody will know it is about 
code for a kind of RISC CPU architecture that was stabbed in the back.

It is also easier to search, e.g you get about 10^12 hits with google 
when searcing just for for "alpha". Try sorting that out.
