Message-ID: <001801c406ce$1bf09dc0$022d6e0c@default> From: epic at hack3r.com (Epic) Subject: Meth and hacking? This has to be the dumbest statement I have ever heard. I come from a long history of both hacking, and a meth addiction. Being clean now from the meth for over 5 years, I can tell you honestly that During the first month of the addiction you may possibly be able to maintain, however beyond that, life turns upside down. It is hard to maintain "hacking" when you cant afford electricity, you are extremely paranoid, and you cant even remember what day it is. Meth does not allow one to focus for months on end like you would like to imagine. It keeps one awake, but it pretty much decimates the mind. Of course the tinfoil hats and the police scanner might keep the bad guys away, but it wont make you a better hacker. -----Original Message----- From: full-disclosure-admin@...ts.netsys.com [mailto:full-disclosure-admin@...ts.netsys.com] On Behalf Of Steven Alexander Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2004 10:44 AM To: full-disclosure@...ts.netsys.com Subject: [Full-Disclosure] Meth and hacking? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4460349/ "The drugs and the crime fit neatly together; addicts strung out on meth can stay awake and focused for days at a time, making them expert hackers and mailbox thieves. And ID theft is easy money, the perfect income for drug addicts who have no other way to fund their habit." Expert hackers?
