Yep. The anti-circumvention clause of the DMCA, that prevents you from
accessing your own data under fair use is sane.  As are a lot of the
surveillance provisions of the Patriot act and it's follow-ons.  There's
absolutely nothing wrong with the UCITA definition of shrink-wrap licenses, nor
is there any horrendous breakage of the concept of "liability" for software...
