It would only seem appropriate that full-disclosure would give him a start by sending him the source. So it's illegal, I would think full-disclosure would break a few EUEULAsand if disclosing vulnerabilities and exploits did become illegal I certain this list will disband... hahahahahight! but if it helps you feel like you're doing the "right" thing by reminding others that they're breaking the law then so be it.
