Usual list behaviour. If you're approved poster (read: subscribed with
the correct address), your posts go to the list immediately. Otherwise,
they wait for moderation. Since you usually do a group reply to include
the list in addition to the original poster, the original poster can
see the reply well before the list, and reply.

(which reminds me that I should change the subscribe address, as we recently
 switched naming schemes for email here. Both works, but the new one is
 what's being used to send mails now)
