I have seen this happen to users before with Microsoft Word. The user has
inadvertantly left his/her microphone on with the 'alternate input'
installed along with MS Word. The gibberish is, in part, the user's own
comments recorded by MS Word through the microphone.

It can be startling, to say the least, when this unintended transcription
occurs.
