Message-ID: <4169C827.2060003@crearium.com> From: fabio at crearium.com (fabio) Subject: Techniques to identify pop3 banners Hi. Anyone know how to get pop3 daemon name and version just looking at the banner? For example, What is the product name of the following pop3 daemon? nietzsche% nc foo 110 +OK POP3 foo v2003.83 server ready I obtained some products name with google and common sense but there are so many that the banner is identical without displaying the version. Thanks in advance. ebar.
