We've had nothing but problems with SBC. I would look at AT&T Business DSL.
Pricy ($80-$100), but the speed is awesome (3.0 Mbps). They do not block
port 25. Yeah!

Good Morning,
I thought the list would be interested in a story which is
developing as we speak.
Approximately an hour ago, we lost TCP port 25 from/to anywhere.
This, on our "Business-Class DSL" line. A call to SWB confirms that:
(a) The decision to block *everyone* was made some time ago;
(b) SWB chose not to notify anyone of this impending change;
(c) There are NO exceptions. Just how this "service" qualifies as a
"Business Class DSL" is anyone's guess.
(d) While they state that they will offer relay services, to get them
requires that you fill out a form and send it in to SWB for processing: a
process that could take "several weeks".
Even the most rabid "block port-25 everywhere" can't agree that this
is the right way to do this. As for the ~$60.00 we pay every month for
"Business Class" service - what the hell is that money *buying*???

Civilization is in a tailspin - everything is backwards, everything is
upside down- doctors destroy health, psychiatrists destroy minds, lawyers
destroy justice, the major media destroy information, governments destroy
freedom and religions destroy spirituality - yet it is claimed to be
healthy, just, informed, free and spiritual. We live in a social system
whose community, wealth, love and life is derived from alienation, poverty,
self-hate and medical murder - yet we tell ourselves that it is biologically
and ecologically sustainable.
The Bush plan to screen whole US population for mental illness clearly
indicates that mental illness starts at the top.
