Subject: alert: the 111111 bug

I saw the same thing happen on 9/9/99

The company went through a flurry of data entry, and they seemed to ride
out the event well enough.

This may have been due to a few pointed warnings from the technical
staff. Then again, it may have been wrapped in with the changes for the
2000 'bug', so they may have had a budget for it.
