Why ask if you are going to anyway? No, it's not polite to do so, as
it's presumtous, and thats worse.

One of the provisors of communications is a language set, if it is not
possible to form a common language set then the best that can be
communicated is a partial translation plus inference, which in human
terms is highly unreliable. Without proper communications a
mailinglist is totally useless, so where does the line lie?

How about just creating a filter every time a thread starts that
you're not interested in, it's not that hard, given you claim you read
them all and it's wasting so much time.

and surely that means you can at least gain something from this "gay

I've been taking dumps for what, a few decades - yeah, I'd say I know
