7.00 PM - 7.40 PM: Preventing Phishing Attacks - By Eric Heitzman
(Foundstone)
Phishing attacks, email-based scams, and identity theft are on the rise,
and most organizations are not doing enough to protect their customers
from these threats. In this talk, we will review common weaknesses in
web applications that make it easier for an attacker to perform phishing
attacks against legitimate users. We'll see techniques used to exploit
these weaknesses and see what architects, developers, and administrators
can do to prevent these attacks.
