What, is an OSX virus or worm going around?  Has anybody got details?

Or is this just the old NeXTStep problem where a Mach task (as opposed
to "Unix process implemented as a Mach task") created by any user ID
ran as root?

I never did the fiddling to get filesystem access from a Mach task,
but I heard that it was easily possible.
