Subject: The truth about Rob Levin aka Lilo of
irc.freenode.net
I'd also add to this:
Rob Levin is also running a campaign, invoking the name of the PDPC
and freenode in the second sentence of his solicitation, to get people
to donate to buy him a $250000 motorhome, portraying it as a downright
necessity and indeed the only way to do his work, and soliciting
donations for people to pay of $46000 of he and his wife's school and
personal loans and credit card debt:

(Scroll down to the bottom to see the breakdown of what he wants.)
Stunningly, he makes it appear as if this is necessary because of his
current "living arrangements" in Texas, and apparently hoped to obtain
this quarter million dollar vehicle, complete with $16000 of custom
modifications, before this year's hurricane season. Apparently - even
insofar as voluntary donations to a cause or person are appropriate -
he's never heard of:
1.) Getting a job
2.) Flying or other forms of travel
3.) Moving from Texas if his living situation is that untenable
Because freenode is a widely used resource for many OSS projects, and
Rob Levin (aka lilo) is apparently the only person running the show
and calling all the shots on the freenode network as it stands, it
might be good for users of freenode to consider the situation going
forward.
