The Pwnie Awards ceremony will return to the BlackHat USA 2008 conference in
Las Vegas. Last year's inagural event was a lot of fun, and we hope it will
only get better. What should you expect from this year's ceremony? Exciting new
categories, an inspirational acceptance speech by the winner of the Lamest
Vendor Award and a special sing-along lead by HD Moore!

The Pwnie Awards is an annual awards ceremony celebrating the achivements and
failures of security researchers and the wider security community. We're
currently accepting nominations in nine award categories, including two new
ones for this year:

 * Best Server-Side Bug
 * Best Client-Side Bug
 * Mass 0wnage
 * Most Innovative Research
 * Lamest Vendor Response
 * Most Overhyped Bug
 * Best Song
 * Most Epic FAIL (new for 2008)
 * Lifetime Achievement award for hackers over 30 (new for 2008)

The deadline for nominations is Monday, July 14. To submit a nomination,
