- -- Vulnerability Details:
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on
vulnerable installations of Novell ZENWorks. User interaction is
required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a
malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within \Program Files\Common
Files\InstallShield\ISGrid2.dll. If the bstrReplaceText parameter
exceeds its statically-allocated length then a buffer overflow will
occur. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on the system in
the context of the user running the browser.
