Description
===========

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

drm/amd/display: Check null-initialized variables

[WHAT & HOW]
drr_timing and subvp_pipe are initialized to null and they are not
always assigned new values. It is necessary to check for null before
dereferencing.

This fixes 2 FORWARD_NULL issues reported by Coverity.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-49898 to this issue.

	Fixed in 6.10.14 with commit 3fc70ae048fe
	Fixed in 6.11.3 with commit 115b1a3b0944
	Fixed in 6.12-rc1 with commit 367cd9ceba19

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this
