In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ntfs3: Add bounds checking to mi_enum_attr()

Added bounds checking to make sure that every attr don't stray beyond
valid memory region.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-50248 to this issue.

	Fixed in 6.11.7 with commit 809f9b419c75
	Fixed in 6.12-rc3 with commit 556bdf27c2dd

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel

supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
